PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) is now a very common material used in gasketing applications for arduous chemical service. Materials offered by PTM include virgin grades but more commonly biaxially structured with various fillers to comply with the require chemical and creep resistance. The unique structure of filled PTFE ensures high levels of seal integrity.
